History

Woodbridge Badminton Club was previously known as Adastral Park Badminton Club and before that BT Research Badminton Club. The club has played in the Ipswich and District Badminton League since the early 1970s when the club moved to Suffolk following the Post Office moving its research laboratories to Martlesham Heath.

2011 saw another new chapter in the club as we became Woodbridge Badminton Club. The name change came about as a result of the opportunity for the club to create a home venue for all of its activities at Farlingaye High School; as a result the club has adopted the town name and now looks to become a major part of the local community. We were voted IDBL Club of the Year in 2014-15.

Due to the unavailability of Farlingaye High School, the club relocated to Kesgrave High School in January 2022.
